Scripture: John 16:7-11

John 16:7-11 says, “Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in Me; of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.” What are we going to look like in the last days? According to Jesus we are going to be better off with the Holy Spirit than if He were here in bodily form. Because when the Spirit comes, “…He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in Me; of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.” If the ruler of this world is judged, then any time, any place or anywhere we go, we can enforce that judgment by declaring covenant. We activate the promises by faith, God does the judgment. Are we waiting on God or is He waiting on us? I have seen gifts of healing. I have seen words of knowledge. But it is much less often that we see manifestations of judgment. They are promised by Jesus Himself. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word. When we know our covenant, asking or declaring is following the Holy Spirit!
