Scripture: Matthew 11:11-14
Matthew 11:11-14 says, “Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. And if you are willing to receive it, he is Elijah who is to come.” The very same word for “suffers violence” is used here as in Luke 16. Are we willing to say yes to the judicial kingdom and walk it out? Are we willing to put a demand on the Lord to do justice when we have obeyed Him by fulfilling the requirement of walking in righteousness? If we are then we can expect some of the very same signs and wonders that the early church walked in. God is willing to give us a dramatic harvest. But the question is, are we willing to fully pay the price to walk righteousness out? If we do righteousness, we qualify for doing judgment. By keeping the way of the Lord we will see the harvest that the Lord intended.
