Scripture: Acts 13:32-34
Acts 13:32-34 reveals God’s weed-eater. This is what clears the heart so that whenever you and I plant the Word in our heart it will be planted in good soil. Acts 13:32-34 says, “And we declare to you glad tidings—that promise which was made to the fathers. God has fulfilled this for us their children, in that He has raised up Jesus. As it is also written in the second Psalm: ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You.’ And that He raised Him from the dead, no more to return to corruption, He has spoken thus: ‘I will give you the sure mercies of David.’” The Sure Mercies of David is God’s weed-eater. And when you and I apply it to our heart, it promises to take every failure and make it a platform for our future success. The weed-eater is a redemption of failure. The weed-eater redeems all failure so there is no more condemnation. So we can walk with God, knowing that not only has He forgiven us, but know that we are free in every realm. Do we know we are free? Or do our hearts condemn us? If our hearts do not condemn us, we know that we have confidence toward God. So the real question is, how much confidence do we have from God?
