SUNDAY, AUGUST 2
Scripture: Joshua 1:8,9

Joshua 1:8,9 says, “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” The Lord says, I am with you. Every day spend time in the Word. Speak it to ourselves! Do not let the Word depart from our mouths. Meditate on, memorize and speak the Word to ourselves. Speak it to ourselves. All things are possible to him that believes! Memorize the Word and speak it again and again. It is so simple that it is easy to miss. When we memorize the Word and speak it into our heart, we plant spirit-soil with spirit seed. That means plant it in the soil of our hearts. God made it clear to Joshua, this is what to do. If we want to be successful and make our way prosperous here is what to do. It is all predicated on one thing; we must soak in what God has said and put it deeply into our hearts. The Word is seed. Plant the eternal seed into the soil of our hearts. Farm your spirit. That is very, very simple. Thank God that Joshua did it and he fulfilled what God had purposed for him to do. Are we doing it?
