TUESDAY, AUGUST 25
Scripture: Ecclesiastes 2:26

There is one thing that is very clear in Scripture, and that is God declared war on the spirit of mammon. He declared war on the spirit of mammon by giving the abundant promises that He would finance whatever He directs us to do. Ecclesiastes 2:26 says, “For God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy to a man who is good in His sight; but to the sinner He gives the work of gathering and collecting, that he may give to him who is good before God. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind.” Solomon understood that God had a purpose and the wicked could not hang onto the resources they accumulated. The resources that God created in the earth have a primary purpose. And that is to fund the salvation of man and his growth and development into the fullness of all that God has. To that end, as we sow these promises, we will live in an abundant supply that will bring in the fullness of the end-time harvest.
