Scripture: Psalm 65:11

Psalm 65:11 is the Scripture God gave me for the year 2015. It says, “You crown the year with Your goodness and Your paths drip with abundance.” There is no greater challenge to believing this verse than to be swamped in the last quarter of the year by so many prophetic voices declaring judgment upon the nation and destruction for the economy. Sometimes prophets prophesy their theology. We need to be reminded that God is our Source and that He has His own separate economy. He is our provision, our health, our healing. The best medical clinic in the earth is His Presence. In every area in which we face need, God is our Source. Perhaps that has been God’s primary goal in having us tap into this particular promise for this year making Him our Source in every area of life, so that regardless of what happens in the nation, we are secure in who we are and in whom we believe, and that He is our provision in every arena. We must continue walking in covenant obedience so that we can see the fullness of His purpose in our lives.
