THURSDAY, DECEMBER 17
Scripture: Revelation 18:11-12

Verses 11,12 state, “And the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her, for no one buys their merchandise anymore: merchandise of gold and silver, precious stones and pearls, fine linen and purple, silk and scarlet, every kind of citron wood, every kind of object of ivory, every kind of object of most precious wood, bronze, iron, and marble;…” It is obvious that mammon is the ‘god’ that rules Babylon. Babylon has become a system where money rules and God is excluded. Things, wealth and possessions rule. That which competes with God for worship has to be judged and called to come down. There is no doubt about it. It will come down, and it is just a matter of when. The question is, Lord, when will You bring Babylon down? When will You topple ministries that tolerate evil?
