SATURDAY, MARCH 12
Scripture: Leviticus 20:9-24

This passage points to the issue of sexual sin. Every part and layer of it. From adultery, homosexuality, pedophilia, bestiality, etc. Verse 22 makes it very clear, “You shall therefore keep all My statutes and all My judgments, and perform them, that the land where I am bringing you to dwell may not vomit you out.” Premarital sex is so common in our culture it fails to even raise eyebrows. In 2003, several studies showed that less than 5% of Americans had abstained from sexual sin at the time of their first marriage, and it is likely that rate has only lessened over time. We see a cultural movement toward not only protecting but encouraging homosexuality. Sexual sin fills a land with iniquity until it cries out for judgment against the people filling it. When ungodly Democratic and Republican politicians support changing God’s definition of marriage, they further open the doors to judgment on our land. No Godly nation has ever survived rebellion against God in this arena. We either turn or we lose the nation.
