FRIDAY, MARCH 25
Scripture: Matthew 23:37-39

Jesus wept over the condition of Jerusalem and we are told in verse 37, “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! See! Your house is left to you desolate; for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’” The house was left desolate because they would not turn and they were not willing to repent. Will we see that in America? We hope not, but at this point we seem to be following the path of Israel straight into judgment. We can pray and intercede, but have we reached the point where prayers for judgment on perpetrators may be the only way to save the land?
