Scripture: Genesis 11:5,6

Genesis 11:5,6 says, “But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. 6 And the Lord said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them.” This is perhaps one of the strongest statements in Scripture concerning the power of the words that we speak. We are made in the image and likeness of God. He used His words to create. And this passage tells us because they were in agreement, whatever they proposed they would be able to create, good or evil. Unfortunately they were building the tower in rebellion against God. What happens when people agree together and start to rebel against God to bring destruction? God always raises up an enemy to their plans and activities. And when America started to rebel against God and agree to promote evil, that meant God may raise an enemy against us. Is radical Islam an enemy against America? It most certainly is. And it appears to be gaining ground in the earth. Is that by chance because of the rebellion of America against God? It is our job to do something about it.
