Scripture: Hebrews 11:17,18

Hebrews 11:17,18 says, “By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, of whom it was said, “In Isaac your seed shall be called.” This is in effect a picture of biblical faith in action and that is why we all struggle with it so much. Abraham walked by faith. But walking by faith had painful sacrifice in it. He was forced to sacrifice Isaac, his son, not knowing how it would turn out. The blessing came in how it turned out, how God applied it and what was birthed as a result of his obedience. People who walk in faith always receive a tremendous blessing.
