Scripture: Hebrews 11:3,4

Hebrews 11:3,4 states, “By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks.” Cain and Abel chose what to sacrifice. Cain brought the fruit of the ground and Abel brought life. And because Abel brought life, God had respect and we know what that account produced. Cain killed his brother. Because Abel obeyed and brought the right sacrifice, he was given a witness that he had pleased God. We can walk in such a way to have a witness that we please God. And when we walk in such a way to continually get that witness that we pleased God, we know what the fruit of it is. The fruit of it is faith for God’s purpose. He gives us a witness and the faith that comes from that witness we apply toward His purpose. That is how God intended us to walk and produce eternal fruit, especially in the last days.
