SATURDAY, JULY 9
Scripture: Jude 9-13

In Jude 9-10 we see, “Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said, ‘The Lord rebuke you!’ But these speak evil of whatever they do not know; and whatever they know naturally, like brute beasts, in these things they corrupt themselves.” In these verses we see the full measure of the warfare that goes on with man and the temptation of the enemy. It is obvious that judgment is still operational. Listen to what it says for all those who walk in the way of Cain from verses 11-13, “Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah. These are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots; raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.” If that does not tell us that God is still a Judge, then I am not sure what will. We walk with Jesus Christ and we have to represent Him. He is both a Savior and a Judge and we cannot ignore what the Word clearly says. We must study the whole counsel of God.
