Scripture: Revelation 13:14-17, Isaiah 33:16

Revelation 13:14-17 says, “And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” It is obvious from this passage that in the last days, the enemy uses an individual called the antichrist and he gains control of the ability to buy and sell. So unless we view money as a weapon of war, we are way behind the enemy’s operation because he is rapidly working toward this goal. If we live to see that day, what are we going to do? We need to develop our faith enough to walk with the Creative Christ and see Him create the things we need. People will not be able to buy or sell without the mark and no one can take the mark and make it to heaven. Taking the mark is a death sentence in more ways than one. It seems like the enemy is already working to control the banking system and working to do away with cash. The more we resist it the better off we will be. It feels as if our nation is heading in that direction quickly. Faith in the end-times means faith to rely on God to provide what we need in His way, even as Elijah who was fed by the ravens. Can we walk with God in that dimension? Can we learn to trust Him with the very most foundational elements of life? Can we trust Him for clothing? Shelter? Food? We can, but we need to develop the faith to stand in the midst of great adversity.
