TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 20
Scripture: Exodus 23:27-28

Exodus 23:27-28 says, “I will send My fear before you, I will cause confusion among all the people to whom you come, and will make all your enemies turn their backs to you. And I will send hornets before you, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite from before you.” We can see that God is willing to go before us. He even says in verse 23 that His angel will go into all these nations and drive them out. He will cut them off and because of the Sure Mercies of David we know that it is covenant that God cuts off our enemies.. David prayed God would cut off his enemies and God did. The same promises He made to David and others, God has made to us. We have it in the New Testament and it is ours to believe in, to pray for and to stand upon. Just like it belonged to them in the Old Covenant, it belongs to us in the New based on better promises. So surely we can have confidence to go forth and harvest the nations! It is time, in Jesus’ name!
