Scripture: Hebrews 11:32-34

Faith’s Hall of Fame has an amazing list of individuals in it. In Hebrews 11:32-34 it says, “And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets: who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.” This is a long list of the individuals who, through faith, made contributions and caused leaders of kingdoms to change their view and accept the God they served. How can we go wrong learning to walk in this group? Learning the principles by which they subdued kingdoms may well be a key to prepare for the days ahead. I believe we are going to see this again and many are being called to walk in it right now. This nation of ours which was once a pinnacle of integrity and strength has been, in recent decades, descending into wickedness. God may be giving a window of opportunity with a new president that allows the church to learn how to subdue kingdoms in order to gain a greater harvest of nations. It is time for the Body to become the glorious church without spot, wrinkle or blemish that Scripture promises.
