SATURDAY, AUGUST 19
Scripture: Exodus 6:1-7

Exodus 6:1-7 says, “Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh. For with a strong hand he will let them go, and with a strong hand he will drive them out of his land.’ And God spoke to Moses and said to him: ‘I am the Lord. I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as God Almighty, but by My name Lord I was not known to them. I have also established My covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, in which they were strangers. And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel whom the Egyptians keep in bondage, and I have remembered My covenant. Therefore say to the children of Israel: “I am the Lord; I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, I will rescue you from their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments. I will take you as My people, and I will be your God. Then you shall know that I am the Lord your God who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.”’” The reason that God came to Moses was to reveal Who He was as Jehovah. Jehovah was different from El Shaddai. Jehovah was the God Who delivered with an outstretched arm and with great judgments. Do we know the God Who delivers with an outstretched arm and great judgments? Verse 7 says we need to know and experience Him, “I will take you as My people, and I will be your God. Then you shall know that I am the Lord your God who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.” Are we under the burdens of government today? Are we under the burdens of unbiblical laws imposed by the Supreme Court and eight years of a godless administration? How should we respond to the burdens? We should do what the Israelites did under Pharaoh – cry out to God. We need to see the God Who has a strong arm and will bring us out from the burdens of antichrist leadership. We need to see God visit the Court just like He visited Egypt and was too much for them. We need to see God be too much for these wayward Supreme Court members and ungodly representatives of United States Senate and House. As we head into the last days, the God Who is too much wants to manifest His glory in our behalf. Are we willing to say yes to Him?
