Scripture: Colossians 2:2-3
Colossians 2:2-3 says, “To this end I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me mightily. For I want you to know what a great conflict I have for you and those in Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh, that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” This passage tells us that understanding of the knowledge of the mystery of God both of the Father and of Christ in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge is available. Christ is the storehouse. Understanding the ways of Christ is the storehouse of wisdom and knowledge and brings these qualities forth for God’s purpose in our lives. Praying in the Spirit ignites that understanding! Are we going to pursue and walk toward this fullness? It is obvious that God has given us tongues in order to access these treasures and bring them within us to form the building blocks of our maturity as we construct our spiritual house. One primary path to advance that construction is praying in the Spirit.
