TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 5
Scripture: Exodus 28:1-3

Verse three is the very first place that wisdom is mentioned in Scripture and it says, “Now take Aaron your brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister to Me as priest, Aaron and Aaron’s sons: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. And you shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, for glory and for beauty. So you shall speak to all who are gifted artisans, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron’s garments, to consecrate him, that he may minister to Me as priest.” The first thing we learn about wisdom is that it is a spirit. As we see in Isaiah 11:2 wisdom comes by the Spirit and wisdom is a Spirit. That is fact number one. Wisdom came in order to fulfill Aaron’s purpose and make him fit to minister to God as priest. It was even a process of sanctification, of setting apart the clothes that he wore. The clothes that he wore were a sign of his being set apart for God’s holy purpose. We need to understand how God functions and operates concerning wisdom and worship.
