Scripture: Hebrews 8:7-12
Anyone who is strong in the New Testament knows their covenant and knows how important verses 7-12 are! Verse 11 says, “None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them.” This is the promise of the New Covenant. God will reveal to us personally Who He is, and we shall know the Lord. In this passage the Lord is not Khris-tos, Savior of all the earth, the Lord here is Koo-ree-os, Judge of all the earth. In New Testament terms if we are going to be strong according to Hebrews 8 we also have to know the Judge. Actively using our prayer language takes us into the dimension where we can hear the Spirit and be led by Him. Let’s pray in tongues and, when led by the Spirit, pray judicial prayers that represent the Judge of all the earth!
