MONDAY, MARCH 26
Scripture: 2 Samuel 17:23

In 2 Samuel 17:23 Ahithophel found out that his counsel concerning pursuing King David had been rejected. As a result he is certain how everything will turn out. He knows then that God will give the Kingdom back to David. We are told in verse 23, “Now when Ahithophel saw that his advice was not followed, he saddled a donkey, and arose and went home to his house, to his city. Then he put his household in order, and hanged himself, and died; and he was buried in his father’s tomb.” This was the fruit of King David’s prayer. Can we pray the Psalms today? Absolutely, we can pray through the Spirit and expect anointed fruit. When David prayed judicially God intervened and put Ahithophel in the grave and laid the path to place David back in his rightful position as king! God is amazing, and He is truly a Covenant-Keeper. Let God arise, and all His enemies be scattered!
