Scripture: Acts 22:14-18
Acts 22:14-18 says, “Then he said, ‘The God of our fathers has chosen you that you should know His will, and see the Just One, and hear the voice of His mouth. For you will be His witness to all men of what you have seen and heard. And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord. Now it happened, when I returned to Jerusalem and was praying in the temple, that I was in a trance and saw Him saying to me, “Make haste and get out of Jerusalem quickly, for they will not receive your testimony concerning Me.”’” This is the Apostle Paul suddenly getting a prophetic word, “The God of our fathers has chosen you that you should know His will and see the Just One and hear the voice of His mouth. For you will be His witness to all men of what you have seen and hear.” God chooses people to know, to see and to witness. God chooses us because we are willing to receive what He has to say and then to act on it. We are chosen to follow the Holy Spirit. Will we do that? It is really that simple! Will we do that? Make the choice. John 16:13 promises He will show us things to come. We need to let our relationship with Him soar to the place where we face our destiny with our own degree of supernatural resolve. Make the choice! Let’s do and be the witness that God has ordained us to be!
