TUESDAY, JULY 10
Scripture: 2 Kings 6:13-15

In 2 Kings 6:13-15 we are told, “So he said, ‘Go and see where he is, that I may send and get him.’ And it was told him, saying, ‘Surely he is in Dothan.’” Therefore the Syrian king sent horses and chariots and a great army, and they came by night and surrounded the city. And when the servant of the man of God arose early and went out, there was an enemy army, surrounding the city with horses and chariots. And his servant said to him, “Alas, my master! What shall we do?” Elisha and his servant were surrounded by an army of Syrians. Different devils have manifested! And Elisha’s servant saw that they were cornered. That brought great alarm to Elisha’s servant. Gehazi was replaced due to disobedience being subsequently plagued with leprosy. Elisha had a new servant. The good news for that servant was that Elisha had walked in obedience. Because he had walked in obedience and maintained his integrity, he had the relationship with God to gain divine intervention! Oh that we would see such an explosion of Holy Spirit interventions today!
