SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 16
Scripture: Mark 6:48-51

In Mark 6:48-51 it says, “Then He saw them straining at rowing, for the wind was against them. Now about the fourth watch of the night He came to them, walking on the sea, and would have passed them by. And when they saw Him walking on the sea, they supposed it was a ghost, and cried out; for they all saw Him and were troubled. But immediately He talked with them and said to them, ‘Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.’ Then He went up into the boat to them, and the wind ceased. And they were greatly amazed in themselves beyond measure, and marveled.” The very first thing that Jesus had to do when He met them as He walked on the water was to say, ‘Guys don’t fear, it’s Me, don’t be afraid.’ We cannot have faith for the supernatural if we are afraid of the supernatural. It may be time to make a quality decision to seek the supernatural manifestations of the Lord. Certainly He is ready to manifest them. Our awareness of our new stature through God’s gift of holiness should enable us to discern fear and respond appropriately. After holiness, Jesus declares us without blame. Being without blame enhances and accelerates faith for the supernatural. Anointed confidence as well as great wisdom will be byproducts of the Sonship gifts operating in our lives! When we know God has made us holy and without blame, faith for the supernatural increases!
