FRIDAY, MARCH 13
Scripture: 2 Thessalonians 1:1-12

2 Thessalonians 1:3 says, “Let no one deceive you by any means…” In verse 9 Paul goes on to talk about the coming of the lawless one who is according to the work of satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders. Then verses 11-12 say, “And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” The Holy Spirit identifies a group that disqualify themselves. Some will think that they qualified but they don’t. The Bible is very clear when it says, “let no one deceive you.” Satan is a deceiver and he comes in the last days and he comes with all deception, signs and lying wonders. We are living in a season where masses of people who attend church are being deceived. We only need look at what our colleges produce. They produce way too many antichrist people. Higher education is dominated by antichrist evangelists! Families and individuals pay money to further their education and then they actually graduate spiritually duller and darker than when they started. Many are jaded, bitter, some even become activists for lies and deception themselves. Most have had the truth of the Bible sucked right out of them. Since when throughout history did college students need hugs and ‘teddy bears’ when their candidate of choice didn’t win. Wimps and weasels cry when their toes are stepped on or their feelings are hurt. True wisdom comes from God’s Word. That is where we get it. The Holy Spirit Who is the Spirit of truth through God’s Word will lead us and guide us into all truth if we will let Him. I trust that we will choose God’s way over man’s.
