Description

Purifying The Altar is the fruit of a quest to understand the Covenant of the Tithe.

Ephesians 2:12 & 13 states before accepting Jesus, we were: “aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise. … But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been made near by the blood of Christ.” All the covenants belong to us.

There is little said about the covenant of the tithe in the New Testament because it was universally accepted and needed little comment. Both Jesus and the Apostle Paul affirmed it – that should be enough for everyone! Some of the most dramatic promises of scripture surround the tithe.

THE FINANCIAL HEALTH OF EVERY BELEIVER IS IMPACTED BY HOW THEY TREAT THIS SUBJECT!!

“Then Jacob made a vow, saying, ‘If God will be with me, and keep me in this way that I am going, and give me bread to eat and clothing to put on, so that I come back to my father’s house in peace, then the Lord shall be my God. And this stone which I have set as a pillar shall be God’s house, and of all that You give me I will give a tenth to You.'” (Gen 28:20-22). The tithe and the church were inextricably joined by covenant before the law ever came.

“‘Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, And prove me now in this’, says the Lord of hosts, ‘If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.'” I tithe, where is it?

ONLY A GOD WHO ORDAINED A PURE ALTAR CAN COMPLETE THE COVENANT OF THE TITHE!!

Jesus said the Altar sanctifies the tithe not the tithe the Altar which means only a God ordained pure Altar can complete the covenant of tithe. That raises the following questions:

  • What transpires in the realm of the spirit when we do business at an impure Altar?
  • We tithe and do all we know but why are the windows still not open to us?
  • Is the spiritual condition of the Altar where I sow reproduced in my life?
  • Will self-seeking, self-promotion and manipulation defile the Altar?
  • Can I ask God to purify the Altar where I sow and what will He do?
