Psalm 75, more than any other, describes our nation’s current events in the battle to reshape the Supreme Court from one which consistently rules against God and His Church, to one which returns us to our roots. I can’t think of a better passage of Scripture to pray than Psalm 75.

We give thanks to You, O God, we give thanks!  For Your wondrous works declare that Your name is near. When I choose the proper time, I will judge uprightly. The earth and all its inhabitants are dissolved; I set up its pillars firmly. I said to the boastful, ‘Do not deal boastfully,’ And to the wicked, ‘Do not lift up the horn. Do not lift up your horn on high; Do not speak with a stiff neck.’ For exaltation comes neither from the east Nor from the west nor from the south. But God is the Judge: He puts down one, And exalts another.  For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, And the wine is red;  It is fully mixed, and He pours it out; Surely its dregs shall all the wicked of the earth Drain and drink down.  But I will declare forever, I will sing praises to the God of Jacob. All the horns of the wicked I will also cut off, But the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.

We saw God’s hand put down Harriet Miers and lift up Samuel Alito, but what shall we say to all the voices attempting to stop the nomination of a Bible believing Judge who consistently rules against those attempting to silence the Church?  Judge Alito believes the "separation of Church and State," as currently defined (prohibiting commencement prayer, public display of Ten Commandments and Nativity scenes), is an invention of the liberal left – nowhere to be found in the Constitution. Self-exalting wicked horns are already manifesting in the Senate.  Senator Specter  could have held hearings expeditiously but caved in to Antichrist forces giving them two additional months to work against Judge Alito.  Senator Specter is a proponent of abortion and has given great aid to the enemy of our corporate soul.

We have a biblical mandate to remind God about His promise to "cut off" all the horns of the wicked while exalting the horns of the righteous.  One Bible believing Judge nominated to the Supreme Court will reveal the hearts of Senators.  Watch the spirit of Antichrist rise.  As it becomes visible against Judge Alito, our job is to declare God’s opposition and judgment!   Cutting off the enemy is essential!  When God rises, the righteous rejoice.
