Scripture: Ephesians 1:15-23

The New Testament correlation to the book of Joshua is the book of Ephesians.  In Ephesians 1:15-23 we have the Revelation of Jesus as a covenant-maker and the prayer that we will come into the full measure of understanding of what His covenant offers.  “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,  far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.  And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.”  This is one of the greatest prayers in Scripture outside of what Jesus prayed in John 17.  It is a heart-cry that the church will learn what they have in their covenant with God.  I trust we are learning and we have a revelation of it and that Jesus is our guarantee for justice.  When we find those that refuse to change in filling the land with iniquity, we have a right to demand covenant justice until we see their utter and complete removal.  It is the only way to save the righteous in the nation.  Either the righteous have to depart the designated city of destruction or God has to destroy the unrighteous among us.  Which way should we go?
