Scripture: Matthew 28:18-20

Matthew 28:18-20 is a very familiar passage because it is the Great Commission. In the Great Commission we are told that all governmental authority has been given to Jesus and He transfers it to us. Because of that, we are commissioned to carry governmental judicial authority. We have access to every single hour of every single day. That access cannot be suspended just because an antichrist spirit gets in office. This authority does not stop if an enemy takes control of a nation. It does not stop for anything! We still have judicial access to the Throne and the question becomes: what are we doing with the access which we have? Jesus bought and paid for that access and we are supposed to be using it to gain a harvest! The question is: are we using it to the degree and dimension we should? If Iran gets a nuclear-weapon and destroys Israel, it is obvious there are a whole lot of Christians who didn’t use their access to stop evil. It is time to demand covenantal judicial intervention from heaven! It is time to demand that the very weapons they seek for the destruction of our harvest will blow up in their face first. That is justice, a distinct rod of iron. That is worth praying about.
