Scripture: Revelation 2:11

To the church at Smyrna the Spirit says, ”He who has an ear let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” What did they have to overcome at Smyrna? They had to prepare for and overcome persecution. Are we prepared for persecution unto death? Are we prepared to declare double death on those who reject our message? Jesus commanded the early church to do this. We are certainly in process and that is what this series, cultivating the Character of the Kingly Christ, is all about. When it is cultivated, watch out because Jesus the Judge is coming out of us!
