Scripture: 1 Corinthians 4:18-21

1 Corinthians 4:18-21 says, “Now some are puffed up, as though I were not coming to you. But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord wills, and I will know, not the word of those who are puffed up, but the power. For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power. What do you want? Shall I come to you with a rod, or in love and a spirit of gentleness?” Biblically define striking with a rod and we have a picture of what Paul was saying! Paul makes it clear that he walked in that realm. He said, “I am coming. And because I wear the bit and bridle of Christ, I have to release judgment. If a rod of iron is needed, I will bring it.” Paul knew what it was like to strike a false prophet with blindness. He knew what it was like to deliver people to satan for the destruction of their flesh. If you want to see the judicial Hand of God,” Paul said, I can release it.” Every single minister in the church today should qualify and walk in that dimension. Where are we when it comes to representing the judicial Christ? Ministers exist to train the church to war like Jesus wars!
