Scripture: 1 Chronicles 21:13-15

Thousands of men died before the sword was stayed. Can we pray a strike with the sword that does not take lives? It is possible to pray the Sword of the lord on all those who contribute to a political candidate whose support of evil brings utter destruction on the land. One of the constant prophetic themes of Scripture is releasing the Sword of the lord on those who use wealth in order to promote evil? Striking a demonic treasury and demanding covenant intervention to arrest the support of evil is an eternal work. Releasing the Sword of the lord initiates the anointing to spoil. The authority to release God’s Sword rests squarely in the hands of covenant-keeping believers as they respond to the Spirit. Knowing who we are, what we have by covenant and how we are called to restrain evil equips us to pray in a very different way. The church will be stunned at the results of striking the enemy’s camp with the Sword of the lord and cutting off their funding. We not only pray for the promotion and favor of godly politicians but we release the Sword of the lord on the antichrist politicians and on every donor who supports them. Anything less is enabling evil.
