Luke 16:14,15

The Pharisees could not abide the truth of the Spirit. It revealed their compromise. Jesus told them, “You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God.” Imagine having a congregation of 50,000 people. You would be very highly esteemed. That would finance your own television program and get you on major news shows. But what if you have so compromised the message that people are not even getting 50% of what God says? What if all they are getting is a feel-good gospel? What if the Word is so twisted that Jesus would judge you worse than the wolves and the false prophet that Paul confronted? What would we do if God opened our eyes to see as He does? Would we choose to fall on the rock or would the rock fall on us? Will we see those things happen this year? I will be very surprised if we don’t. Choose wisely this year!
