FRIDAY, MARCH 9
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 12:14-18

In verses 14-18 Paul made it clear that the children do not lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children. He went on to say what he meant by that. He meant he did not ask his converts to pay for what he was doing. He did not take advantage of any of them in fundraising, nor did any of the people he sent. He even asked the question: “Did Titus take advantage of you? Did we not walk in the same spirit? Did we not walk in the same steps?” Paul is outlining how you and I can tell the counterfeit from the true. The true have been to the School of the Spirit and graduated with honors, so to speak. They do not have to manipulate for money. The counterfeit have never been to that school, or if they have been, they did not graduate. God has a School of the Spirit and He wants us to graduate from it so that we look like Him!
