Scripture: Isaiah 48:1-7

In Isaiah 48:1-7 the Lord spoke to the House of Israel. He talked to believers and He said He had declared the former things from the beginning. Verse 3 says, “I have declared the former things from the beginning; They went forth from My mouth, and I caused them to hear it. Suddenly I did them, and they came to pass.” When God declares a thing and it goes forth out of His mouth, it comes to pass! God always told Israel what He was going to do before it happened and when they saw it, they knew it was God! In verses 6 and 7 He says, “You have heard; See all this. And will you not declare it: I have made you hear new things from this time, Even hidden things, and you did not know them. They are created now and not from the beginning; And before this day you have not heard them, Lest you should say, ‘Of Course I knew them.’” When we hear new things, even hidden things from the Lord we speak them, and then God comes and creates them. Verse 7 says that God is going to create new things that we did not know and have not heard. He is going to demonstrate that He is God and He is the Creator and it is an open invitation to come walk with Him in that place. That is being offered to the church. God is still a Creator! Let’s join Him!
