Scripture: 1 Samuel 16:14

In 1 Samuel 16:14, “But the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and a distressing spirit from the Lord troubled him.” Saul not only lost his office and his call, but he lost his anointing to walk in his office and fulfill his call. And once the anointing was gone, Saul found himself terrorized until he was removed from office. God raises up men and God removes them. He does not play around. Do we have Sauls today? We most certainly do. Saul lost his office because he refused to represent the Judicial Christ. Let us trust that the generation following us will find and know the God Who desires to save and the God Who desires to kill. The vile enemies of the Lord abound. They are attempting to criminalize speech so they can put pastors in jail for preaching Romans 1. Hate speech laws are aimed at prosecuting anyone for expressing God’s judgment against perverse lifestyles. In Revelation 2, Jesus expresses what He hates – sexual sin!
