Scripture: Acts 5:31, Isaiah 9:7

The very first thing they asked for was boldness. Verse 31 says, “And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.” It is obvious that the early church’s first prayer for boldness was answered. They got what they asked for. They found themselves in persecution, exactly like we find ourselves today. They prayed Psalm 2, a Judicial Psalm, and God gave them the first thing they asked for, boldness. Are we willing to ask for boldness? I believe it is time to ask for the full manifestation of Holy Boldness. Isaiah 9:7 says that in the last days, the zeal of God will perform this. Will the zeal of God bring holy boldness? You can bet it will! I think we need to pray for it.
