SUNDAY, AUGUST 31
Scripture: Acts 5:1-12

In Acts 5:1-12, we find out whether or not they got the judicial anointing they asked for. And with the death of Ananias and Sapphira, we would have to say they did. The fruit of it, just like in the Old Testament, was that “…great fear came upon all the church and upon all who heard these things.” Verse 12 is the real kicker here, because it explains the fruit of what just happened. It says, “And through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people. And they were all with one accord in Solomon’s Porch.” The verse is referring to the death of Ananias and Sapphira. Their death was the first major sign/wonder that was done. And they were all in one accord in Solomon’s porch. They asked for signs and wonders and got signs and wonders. What are we asking for today? Maybe if we were to ask for signs and wonders, we would see the Judicial Christ rise and we would start turning our nation back to God.
