Scripture: Genesis 15:18, Acts 13

Genesis 15:18 says, “On the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying: ‘To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates—‘” “Made” is the Hebrew word kaw-rath and it means, ‘To cut.’ The Hebrew word for “covenant” is ber-eeth. So the Lord kaw-rath a ber-eeth, or cut a covenant with Abraham. Because we are Abraham’s seed, we are heirs according to the promises of this covenant. So the very same covenant that God made with Abraham, through the Blood of Christ He offers to us. And according to Acts 13, the same covenant God made with David, through the Blood of Christ He offers us. David was given a covenant to rule. Jesus bought and paid for us to have the same promises that David walked in. The question is, are we going to say yes? It is time that we said yes to the Lord! Saying yes to covenant demands action!
