Scripture: Proverbs 8:12,13

Proverbs 8:13 reveals that just like God has the way of the Lord, satan has the way of evil. Evil has a specific way. Proverbs 8:12,13 says, “I, wisdom, dwell with prudence, And find out knowledge and discretion. The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate.” God’s way is opposite of satan’s way! Satan has a way that consists of pride, arrogance and evil, accompanied by perverse and lying lips. There are two competing ways – there is the way of the Lord and the way of the devil. One is righteous and one is evil. The question is, which one will man choose? What is our attitude to be toward evil? With the misinterpretation most believers have of the Sermon on the Mount and the misemphasis on “turn-the-other-cheek” grace, we have in part abandoned the way of the Lord. Changes have to be made in our thoughts, our actions and our prayers.
