Scripture: Proverbs 10:27-29

Proverbs 10:27-29 says, “The fear of the Lord prolongs days, But the years of the wicked will be shortened. The hope of the righteous will be gladness, But the expectation of the wicked will perish. The way of the Lord is strength for the upright, But destruction will come to the workers of iniquity.” What an awesome promise is in verse 29: “The way of the Lord is strength for the upright, But destruction will come to the workers of iniquity.” What a tremendous promise! When we say yes to doing the way of the Lord, walking in righteousness and doing judgment, then we guarantee that in every situation we find ourselves, we will have the strength of the Lord. If we want strength, we must walk in the way of the Lord. It is guaranteed for all of our days.
