Scripture: Luke 3:4-6

Luke 3:4-6 says, “As it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, saying: ‘The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Prepare the way of the Lord; Make His paths straight. Every valley shall be filled And every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight And the rough ways smooth; And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.”’” Are we there? Do we have that? Are the rough places made smooth? Are the crooked places made straight? Are the mountains and the hills brought low? Is every valley filled? These are all manifestations of judgment. His paths are not straight! The way of the Lord is not prepared! We only have a few voices crying in the wilderness. We need more! We are in deep trouble as a nation. There is little preparation for the way of the Lord. We have to agree that the preparation needs to take place and purpose to call it forward! We must call it forth until we see it. Are we going to be faithful to God in this season or are we going to walk away from the way of the Lord. This is a very serious issue and we need to make up our minds that we will say yes to the way of the Lord.
