Scripture: Psalm 107:19-22

Psalm 107:19-22 is a very strong statement about God’s willingness to intervene. It says, “Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, And He saved them out of their distresses. He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions. Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men! Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, And declare His works with rejoicing.” Not only did God save them when they cried out but He sent His Word and healed them and delivered them from their destructions. This is a great passage for a city, a state, a nation or an individual family. This is a passage that all of us can sow into our hearts with great expectation because our God delivers and He sends His Word and heals. This is a redemptive passage that we all should know and sow. We must declare it, ponder it and meditate on it until it becomes personal!
