SATURDAY, AUGUST 27
Scripture: James 5:4-8

James 5:4-8 says, “Indeed the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, cry out; and the cries of the reapers have reached the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth. You have lived on the earth in pleasure and luxury; you have fattened your hearts as in a day of slaughter. You have condemned, you have murdered the just; he does not resist you. Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.” We are told to be patient, that the Lord is coming and He is going to set things straight. He will right the wrong and balance the scales. We cannot hoard, live on the earth in luxury or fatten for personal gain and expect a victorious eternal reward. We have to be obedient, walk in covenant, pass character tests and pass the money test. And if we can do that, we can participate in this wealth transfer by using our faith to pray it. We get to pray against all those who have hoarded and ask God that their gold and silver will witness against them and eat their flesh like fire until the wealth goes to where it is supposed to be – into the Kingdom! That is a unique place of faith in the last days. Will we walk there? We have a chance to qualify right now. God is ready – are we?
