Scripture: James 5:16

Verse 16 says, “Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” Another qualification to pray James 5:3 is being transparent about our issues, failures and needs. This is the issue of personal transparency. If you and I are willing to be personally transparent with one another, then we can pray that God will cause hoarded gold and silver to eat people’s flesh like fire and they will not be able to keep it. But we cannot pray this way without personal transparency. Are we willing to be transparent with one another? It is part of the growth and part of the qualification.
