SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 10
Scripture: Numbers 14:11-12

Numbers 14:11-12 says, “Then the Lord said to Moses: ‘How long will these people reject Me? And how long will they not believe Me, with all the signs which I have performed among them? I will strike them with the pestilence and disinherit them, and I will make of you a nation greater and mightier than they.’” God was ready to destroy the whole nation. Unbelief does not endear to God to those who fall into it. In this case, God may very well want to kill them all and start over the Israelite population with Moses. Faith pleases God and unbelief incites Him to violence. We need to remember that it is possible to reject God’s Word in the face of circumstances and incite the Lord to violence. It would be wise to consider that. If there is one thing we want to avoid at all costs, it is inciting God against us. Even when every circumstance points us in another direction, we can choose to stand on God’s Word and believe. Will we go the path of faith or of unbelief? I trust we will choose wisely. Pray Psalm 94:12-15! ‘Lord, make this coming election an indictment on all the darkness in the land which is preventing America from shining for You!’ Saints, let’s use our friend, Peggy Lester’s prayer, “Turn them about or turn them out!”
