THURSDAY, OCTOBER 5
Scripture: Colossians 2:1-3

This passage says, “For I want you to know what a great conflict I have for you and those in Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh, that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. They are all in Christ which includes the anointing to spoil. This anointing is in Christ! The manifestation of it in our generation resides in Christ. Praying in the Spirit is God’s ordained way of praying out of the realm of the Spirit what has been hidden for us to find and participate in. Once we see that it changes how we think and it motivates us to move into this dimension of Holy Spirit prayer that God has provided and to do so with faith and expectation. What God has provided is full of treasure that is spiritual, financial, emotional, and physical. We are constructing and rebuilding our ‘house’. We should pursue such treasure with passion and purpose. There is no way we can lose when we are doing this. It is a win all the way around.
