THURSDAY, JULY 12
Scripture: 2 Kings 13:20-21

Did Elisha walk in obedience? We are told in 2 Kings 13:20-21, “Then Elisha died, and they buried him. And the raiding bands from Moab invaded the land in the spring of the year. So it was, as they were burying a man, that suddenly they spied a band of raiders; and they put the man in the tomb of Elisha; and when the man was let down and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived and stood on his feet.” Did Elisha walk in obedience to the Spirit? The Life of God was still resident in his bones and resurrected a man who was dead. That is a testimony of obedience. I think it is one that we should pursue! What can we do with a life of obedience? Perhaps the question is what can’t we do with such a life! Is anything impossible for the man or woman who chooses to fully walk an obedient, vibrant life in the Spirit? All things are possible to those who believe!
